The GardensThe GBAS building is situated on almost 5 acres of unspoiled natural beauty. It is our intention to maximize the benefits of our property by creating three large fenced runs for dog exercise and training. Three runs as opposed to our present single run will enable more dogs to be exercised outdoors for a longer period of time than at present and three runs will reduce the stress on our ‘walker’ volunteers.
In a further attempt to alleviate the obvious dangers associated with walking our dogs on Concession 8, we intend to study the possibility of creating a walking trail on and around our property. This trail once established would provide the beginnings of a park like environment containing both natural and cultivated areas; benches; memorial plaques and a columbarium.
